Suber Reception Desk by Isomi

Suber Desk by Isomi - a considered workspace crafted from recycled cork and designed to bring warmth, tactility and circular thinking into contemporary interiors.

Suber explores how regenerative materials can shape everyday environments. Designed to support focused work while contributing to a softer, more natural interior landscape, it is sculptural yet quietly functional - grounded in materiality, yet light in presence.

• Outer desk: 100% recycled cork

• Substructure: Plywood formaldehyde free

• Worksurface: as per chosen material

• Back panels: MDF

Designed for longevity, Suber is constructed with disassembly in mind. Each component can be easily separated for reuse or responsible recycling at end of life - reinforcing our commitment to circular design principles. As with all pieces in our cork collection, Suber demonstrates how reclaimed material can be transformed into purposeful, enduring design.

At its core is cork: a regenerative, carbon-negative material harvested by hand without felling the tree. Cork oak forests continue to absorb CO₂ while supporting rich biodiversity. Recycled cork waste is used from post-consumer wine stoppers, reconstituted with natural binders to create a durable, resilient material with distinctive texture and depth.
