MSL Stonyhurst 6 case study

Stonyhurst College Case Study

We have recently completed another project for our clients, Stonyhurst College in Lancashire, covering a full FF&E furniture package for their newly refurbished Theodore House. Theodore House has benefitted from a £4.85 million refurbishment package and MSL Interiors Ltd were appointed to create a contemporary mix of standard and bespoke furniture and seating for the scheme.

It's been a long time in the making with MSL taking the clients to various manufacturers sites here in the UK and in Poland to ensure that the selected products met with our clients expectations in regards to cost, design and durability. Bespoke bedroom furniture was crafted in North Manchester and was selected due to fast lead times and future proofed manufacturing for additional bedrooms as needed. We also supplied a wide range of soft seating/furniture for the main school including bespoke school lockers, staff room seating, reception sofas and breakout furniture.

Theodore House was an early 19th century water mill that, for decades, has stood roofless and abandoned in the grounds of Stonyhurst College has had new life breathed into it by a heritage charity. The state-of-the-art facilities include a lecture theatre, seminar rooms, oratory, library, refectory and over-night accommodation – will become a well-used venue for pilgrims, scholars, parishes and schools – bringing more visitors to the Ribble Valley.
