MSL Interiors have recently provided a very large Emel reception desk to Morgan Sindall for the Basildon Sporting Village a £38 million PPP scheme which delivers a unique energy efficient sporting hub for Basildon Council.
The Emel reception was designed with Morgan Sindall’s architects and encompasses a high degree of bespoke design with its illuminated fascia, high gloss lacquered finishes and incorporation of DDA sections. MSL Interiors have worked with Morgan Sindall on a large number of projects in the education sector including universities; academy’s and schools providing key bespoke reception and joinery schemes.
The scheme is the potential training camp for the 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games, Basildon Sporting Village is the largest sports project in the Thames Gateway, Europe’s biggest regeneration scheme. Its facilities include a 50-metre, eight lane swimming pool with a viewing area for 450 people; an eight-court multi-purpose sports hall with retractable seating for 480 people; a fully-equipped gymnastics centre; a multi-purpose studio; a 100-workstation health and fitness suite and a climbing wall.
